Since I can remember, the basic layout of an office space resembles a playroom. The same as any dollhouse or workshop – except in only the best cases, you are paid well. The setup of common work-space areas usually features seating and supplies. Besides a coffee break, the standard office routine also features diverse tasks that are useful and entertaining.
Take the email factor – not an intranet or interoffice communications account but one old, worn out everyday people address w/spam-like inbox articles that have accumulated by the thousands. It is possible that this task may take hours or even days to mull through and discover the latest inbox secrets. A few minutes spent with an email inbox during the daily coffee break could provide a healthful dose of daily laughter and trendy lifestyle updates. I have found that reading informational email messages (without an obligation to respond) are a cost-effective enrichment and quick mini-accomplishments happen with every click of deletion. Enjoy!
