Plant your way to Office Success!
You've seen the chaos, that one office member - teetering reprimand with an overgrown foliage canapy. Plant leaves and shoots, sprawling in an unorderly fashion. Sure, it's eco-friendly and oxygenates the air for miles - but are you ready to sport an inter-office foliage swag of your own? A fashionable phenom in flowers' sprout from the crystal vase - featuring one small colorful fish, as an unbothered creature below. Then you have gift baskets turned hobby desk flowers that (by now) yearn for a passionate gardener's tlc.
What is your current cubicle climate? Diligent workplace efforts paired with plant life may prove to be a satisfying source of healthful living. Firstly, do you have a thriving plant in or around the work area? While most cubicle environments are efficiently comfortable, will your space also provide a source of nature-based sustenance or does it basically seem sus. Does your cube employ the benefit of healthful reciprocation to match daily toil and labor? Modern images of firing (a.k.a workplace transition) often includes a box that contains loose recycled papers, some folders, a picture or two and "the plant." But, how does that scenario play out in your cube - amid the "system" of a cluttered desk. Secondly, determine if the office plant actually has a place within your cube to bloom and grow. Will you feel the same about this plant and its' place within said work environments a few years from now? Like almost any other office-based activity, this effort requires planning and commitment. Consider the projected cubicle area that properly displays your artful work of nature on paper. It will ultimately help to describe your view of a productive workspace. Next, search the web to find your new desk-mate in any variation, color and/or fragrance. Most nurseries and garden shops will have what you need. Grocery stores have recently become a popular planter outlet as well. Search the plant's container for feeding instructions and make sure to have any required supplies handy. If the placard states full sun desired, don't plan to place your plant below the cupboard or around obviously dark cubicle spaces. If your plant has a bright place to stretch it's limbs and beacon the sun; it will apparently thrive. Take precautions against poorly positioned sunbeams and other common planter mistakes that includes over-watering. Utilize your bubbly java juices to effectively plan and follow an informed feeding schedule. Placing the specimen near moving structures, such as a frequently opened desk drawer could damage the plants' leaves or adversely affect its' newly micro-managed ecosystem. Finally, take the time to show off your nostalgic yet modern-day office attribute and remember - whether you have an undeniable green thumb or are proudly self taught by the placard, love your new office plant and Have a Happy Java Day!
